Questions
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?
No. The quote tool asks just six things: your gender, age, overall health, tobacco use, coverage amount, and how long you want it to last. Those answers are enough for carriers to give you a rate. We only collect your name, address, and full medical details if you decide to apply.
Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?
They are quotes from the carrier for the health class you told us. This is an estimate for your information. When you apply, the carrier reviews your health and may confirm your class, upgrade you, or move you to a different one. Nothing here is a guarantee of cost.
What happens when I click Apply?
You pick the quote and choose to apply. The application continues on the carriers' secure platform and fills in with your answers already entered. You can stop, save, and return whenever you need. Susman Insurance Agency, a licensed California agency, manages the application process.
Will I need a medical exam?
It depends on which carrier, how much coverage, and what you reported about your health. Many carriers use accelerated underwriting for younger applicants under certain amounts with clean health—they decide without an exam. Each quote shows whether the carrier will require an exam, might require one, or does not require one.
Is a longer term better?
Longer terms mean higher monthly cost but lock in your rate for more years. Shorter terms cost less per month but renew or end sooner. Pick based on your situation: a 20-year mortgage, a 15-year timeline until kids are grown, a 10-year business debt. The quote tool shows all five terms so you can compare.
Does this site sell my information?
No. The quoter tool requests no personal information, we do not share or sell visitor data, and measurement here is cookieless and respects Do Not Track signals. The first-party analytics system also honors Global Privacy Control. Our content delivery network supplies a cookieless tracking beacon that doesn't read Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control.
